“I’m eight and living in Ahvaz. I like math more than all subjects and I am not good at all in writing. I can read Quran so well; I also learned the stories of the Shahnameh and its heroes from the book my aunt gave me, the myth of Rostam and Sohrab, Zahak and etc. However, I myself like Rostam more, because he is so strong and powerful; just like me.
When I got sick, I was three years old and I didn't even know the name of my disease. I was just counting the moments that the pain got subside due to the medications and I played. Playing with dinosaurs and ninja turtles with the rest of the kids was my whole world. I also really like the Spider-Man, I have his clothes, mask and swords, but his gloves yet; and Soccer is my love!
If you ask me how naughty I am out of 10? I will say 10. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor to help all MAHAK children; since I’m not sick anymore and I’m a survivor.”

P.S. Shahnameh is a long historical and epic poem written by the Persian poet Ferdowsi and is the national epic of Greater Iran, Consists of some 50,000 "distiches" or couplets (two-line verses). It tells mainly the mythical and to some extent the historical past of the Persian Empire from the creation of the world until the Muslim conquest in the seventh century.
